NBA Premium Play 01/22: Philadelphia 76ers @ Milwaukee Bucks

NBA - 505 Philadelphia 76ers @ 506 Milwaukee Bucks

Projected Line: Milwaukee by 10 points

Philadelphia is coming from a home loss against San Antonio last night, in a complete brick fest! Philadelphia shot 8-28 FG from 16-23 feet and 4-13 3pts, while San Antonio shot 8-26 FG from 16-23 feet and 3-18 3pts. The reason why the Sixers lost the game was because of their terrible offense down the stretch, where they scored a single point on their last ten possession! The Sixers will now play a back to back game at Milwaukee, with their three players having played a lot yesterday: Jrue Holiday 37 minutes, Evan Turner 42 minutes and Thaddeus Young 39 minutes! Philadelphia has been terrible on offense on back to back spots by averaging just an 100.00 offensive rating, with just one good offensive game (116.34) in six contests, a home game against Phoenix at the start of the season! Milwaukee's defense has been playing well under their new coach and they have actually improved a lot on pick and roll ball handler defense and since Larry Sanders joined the starting lineup, the Bucks are #6 on pick and roll ball handler defense and #6 on spot up defense, so the Sixers's offense will definitely have a tough spot and a tough matchup tonight.

We will have a fun matchup between backcourts, with Jrue Holiday vs Brandon Jennings and Evan Turner vs Monta Ellis. Just like Milwaukee, Philadelphia is an excellent transition defensive team, so this game is likely to become a half court contest, where Milwaukee will have a clear edge on the second unit. The other big difference is that Milwaukee is now an elite pick and roll ball handler defense, Philadelphia's defense is #25! The Sixers are a team that rarely shoots at the rim and they have a low number of free throw attempts. As they are also a poor offensive rebound team and they are likely to struggle on long range shooting due to their spot for tonight, I really expect the Sixers's offense to struggle tonight, while Milwaukee's offense should have a decent offensive game and have an easy win tonight. I'm taking the Bucks tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 506 Milwaukee Bucks (-6,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
