Washington had a weird game at Sacramento, where they blew a late 5 points lead. But for the second game in a row, they dished more than 30 assists. Their transitions plays are also working well and they scored 17 fast break points against Sacramento, with 7-11 FG on transitions. Denver got crushed at Oklahoma City on a poor spot for them, as they were playing on a back to back spot, after going to overtime against Portland. Ty Lawson shot 1-4 FG and had just 1 assist, in a terrible game from him, while Kenneth Faried wasn't better with 2-4 FG. Denver had no legs and their main players simply couldn't perform on this poor spot.
For tonight, Denver will bounce back offensively on a better spot for them. The fact that Washington allowed 62 points in the paint to Sacramento is worrying, as Denver leads the league in points in the paint. I expect Denver to pound Washington down low, while the Wizards will also use their good ball movement to have a decent offensive game in here as well. Therefore, I expect a high scoring game in here and so, I'll be taking the Over on this contest.
