Miami is on a bad mood right now. The team isn't playing well in January and they are coming from a bad loss at Utah. This is a good bounce back mode spot for them and I expect them to come fired up tonight. On this bad run, they have been suffering two kinds of losses: their losses against super big teams, with a good and tough frontcourt like it happened against Chicago, Indiana, Milwaukee and also Utah, where they got outrebounded and the Heat couldn't handle this mismatch. But on other games, they lost against teams they weren't supposed to lose like at Portland, where they had a massive choke after leading the game by double digits points in the fourth quarter.
The question in here is to know if Golden State to know if they have a powerful frontcourt to pound Miami down low. And they don't, as in fact their rebounding numbers lately have been almost as poor as Miami's. This poor rebounding numbers from the Warriors happen exclusively on the offensive end, as Golden State is a top defensive rebounding team! Without this ability of crushing Miami on the boards battle, Miami should have no problems in outplaying the Warriors tonight, with bounce back games from Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Golden State has Stephen Curry banged up and the Warriors's defensive numbers on pick and roll ball handler plays lately have been terrible, something that creates a huge offensive edge for Miami with Lebron James. I expect a great bounce back from the Heat tonight and so, I'll be taking them in here. I also expect Miami to have a good defensive effort tonight, so considering the high totals line, I'll be also taking the Under in here as well.
