Projected Line: Atlanta by 1 point
Atlanta is a complete mess right now. They have bad chemistry, their coach is changing the lineup every game, Josh Smith is suspended and he won't play tonight. Of course, the Hawks will show a big effort tonight against the Nets, but there are some areas where Atlanta will struggle against Brooklyn. The Hawks's perimeter defense has been very bad when it comes to stopping the dribble penetrations from their opposing guards. The team's rebounding is also gone lately, but I actually believe they will be a bit better today due to a big effort. The problem is that the Nets are being the best team on rebounding in the East lately, together with Indiana. Brooklyn's great rebounding numbers are the result of Reggie Evans helping Brook Lopez a lot on this area.
Brooklyn has been showing good ball movement mostly thanks to Deron Williams's stellar play, who has been amazing lately. No way Atlanta should be a four points favorite in here, considering their current problems and Brooklyn's current good form. Therefore, I'll be taking the Nets in here.
