San Antonio is coming from a big home win over Memphis, where they had a wonderful second quarter, where they shot 16-20 FG and scored 38 points against one of the best defenses in the league. The Spurs shot amazingly during the whole game with 58% FG, 33 assists and 13 turnovers and they didn't score more points only because of the slow pace. Their fluidity on offense is back and with that, San Antonio is definitely close to unstoppable on the offensive end. The Spurs will have a very good spot tonight on their home game against Golden State.
The Warriors got crushed at home against Miami, in a game where Stephen Curry didn't play and it was clear that Golden State wasn't ready for defensive intensity that Miami showed the whole game. The Heat were fired up and put a huge pressure on the ball handler and the result of that was 21 turnovers for the Warriors that originated 22 points off turnovers for Miami. This is why Golden State's offense got completely off rhythm and struggled the whole game. I believe that San Antonio's defense won't have the same approach tonight, while the Warriors's offense will be also better prepared. However, Golden State's pick and roll defense is very poor and therefore, San Antonio will absolutely crush Golden State's defense tonight, turning this game into a high scoring game, but with San Antonio having an easy win as well. Therefore, I'll be taking both the Spurs and the Over in here.
