Golden State was competitive last night at San Antonio, where he had four players from Golden State, who played at least 38 minutes. This isn't a great spot for them tonight, but at least New Orleans is close to San Antonio. On this game, I see a clear edge for the Warriors's offense against the Hornets's defense, as we know that New Orleans is focused on defending the paint and therefore, they give a lot of space on the outside. They are indeed one of the worst perimeter defenses in the league by being #26 on pick and roll ball handler defense, #26 on spot ups defense and #20 on cuts defense. This will allow Golden State's offense to pound them tonight, as they are #15 on pick and roll ball handler plays (but they are excellent with Jarrett Jack on the court), #1 on spot ups and #2 on cuts!
I believe this line of 5,5 points favoring New Orleans don't have the matchup in account by only having in consideration New Orleans's current good form against Golden State's bad spot and an injured Stephen Curry. I expect Golden State to be once again very competitive tonight, like they were last night at San Antonio. Therefore, I'll be taking the Warriors in here.
