For the second game of today's doubleheader between these two teams, Miami will start LeBlanc and he is coming from allowing five earned runs and nine hits in Colorado, even though he still won his first decision with a Miami uniform in that game. In four starts for Miami, he has a 2.50 ERA, but a 3.21 FIP and 4.62 xFIP, but he seems ready to regress and this game in Arizona is the perfect game for that, as he has a 9.17 ERA and a 1.698 WHIP in 17.2 career innings at Chase Field.
On the other hand, Arizona will be starting Miley, who is coming from an outing in Houston, where he allowed one run in 6IP. He looked good in that game by throwing 70 strikes of 102 pitches, while lowering his season ERA to 2.98. The advanced numbers show that he is definitely a very solid SP and at home against Miami, he shouldn't have a lot of problems today, especially on the second game of a double header.
With Arizona having a clear edge in terms of SP and also in terms of batters, I believe the Dbacks will have a comfortable win tonight and therefore, I'll be taking them in here.
