Leake) The Cardinals will start Garcia today and he is coming a great comeback outing, where he allowed two runs (zero earned) against Pittsburgh, in a game where he had an 0.00 ERA, 0.00 FIP and 1.15 xFIP! However, he will face a much tougher offense today than the Pirates, as while Pittsburgh is #23 on OPS over the last 14 days with .676, the Reds are #2 with .825! With him being just on his second comeback game today, I believe he will have a tough time against the powerful Reds offense. On the other hand, Leake is also coming from a terrible outing in Philadelphia, where in 4.1IP he allowed seven runs, ten hits and one walk. He has been very inconsistent lately and with just 4 days rest for today, I don't believe he will be able to handle the super red hot Cardinals offense, especially when the Cards roster is hitting .271 BA and .790 OPS in 85 AB's against Leake. With both pitchers ready to struggle today against two red hot offenses, I believe he will have a similar game today to yesterday's high scoring contest and therefore, I'll be taking the Over in here.
