The Clippers are on the worst possible spot on the NBA, with their third game on four nights, with this game being also a back to back game. They played a 10:30PM EST at home against the Celtics last night and they will now play in Utah at 9:00 PM EST. The good part for the Clippers is that they have a super bench and the Clippers starters haven't been playing heavy minutes due to their blowout wins. For example, nobody played even 30 minutes last night! They will face a Jazz team that is struggling a lot on the backcourt with 36% FG from 16-23 feet and 34% 3pts on their last 10 games! On their last game against Golden State, they shot just 8-25 FG from 16-23 feet and 4-17 treys! Therefore, there will be a lot of pressure for the Jazz frontcourt to perform well on offense, but when they face a good frontcourt, they immediately struggle. They won at Orlando with an undersized and shorthanded Magic frontcourt, but they were defeated fair and square against the Warriors on their last game. With the Clippers having four good frontcourt players, they have allowed just 56% FG at the rim over their last 10 games and they will make Utah's offense struggle a lot today.

With a close frontcourt battle, Utah will get crushed on the backcourt, especially down the stretch, where the Clippers have Chris Paul to solve any tight game in their favors. The previous game between these two teams in Utah resulted in a close 105-104 win to the Clippers, but the key for Utah was a nice game of the Jazz backcourt, with Mo Williams shooting 7-11 FG, Randy Foye 7-11 FG and Gordan Hayward 6-10 FG. With that, the Jazz shot 9-20 3pts, but those days are now gone. I believe the Jazz have no conditions to hang with the Clippers huge momentum right now and even on a poor spot, the LA team will dominate and win tonight's game. Therefore, I'll be taking the Clippers in here.
