Atlanta is currently banged up on the backcourt and they got crushed by Philadelphia last night, on a game where they had no chance. Evan Turner shot 10-17 FG, Jrue Holiday 5-13 FG and Jason Richardson 7-12 FG, with the Sixers doing whatever they wanted with their guards ending with nice numbers: 11-27 FG from 16-23 feet and 8-19 treys! Philadelphia's backcourt had the ability of exposing Atlanta's backcourt problems, but Chicago doesn't. The Bulls made a big effort yesterday in NY against the Knicks and they will now play their fourth game in five nights.
Atlanta can be a good team in protecting the paint, so I expect them to be able to limit Chicago's frontcourt on offense tonight. The Hawks will also play their fourth game in five nights and Louis Williams will start tonight at the SG position. I don't know if this is good news for Atlanta, as he needs the ball on his hands and he isn't a traditional SG playing off the ball. Against a tremendous Bulls defense, it's very likely that Atlanta's offense will get stagnant tonight with Jeff Teague and Louis Williams playing at the same time. This is a bad spot for both teams with good defenses, so I expect this game to be a low scoring one. I'm taking the Under in here.
