NBA Premium Play 12/20: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves

NBA - 501 Oklahoma City Thunder @ 502 Minnesota Timberwolves

Projected Line: Oklahoma City by 6 points

This isn't a good spot for neither team, as Minnesota will play their third game in four nights, the same thing for Oklahoma City, who is also on a back to back spot. This may not be a great spot for the Thunder, but the fact that this is a TNT game helps them in terms of motivation. Oklahoma City had in theory a bad matchup yesterday against Atlanta's mobile frontcourt with Al Horford and Josh Smith, but even though Josh Smith had a big game, Oklahoma City survived that and got the win at the end. Minnesota with Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Love is a better matchup for the Thunder, as they are more traditional frontcourt players. Minnesota will have a rebounding edge, however it's important to note that the Thunder's rebounding has been improving lately. Minnesota continues having a bad outside shooting game, as they shot 6-23, 7-25 and 4-17 3pts on their last three games, on a combined of 17-65 (26%) 3pts! This will certainly make Oklahoma City's defensive task much easier tonight.

On the other side, Minnesota will heavily struggle in defending Russell Westbrook. Luke Ridnour has no explosiveness, J.J. Barea is too small and Ricky Rubio can only play 20 minutes, so Westbrook will have a great matchup that he will take advantage of it tonight. During this winning streak, Oklahoma City has been amazing on offense and they are getting Minnesota at the best possible moment, as the Wolves are still trying to find their own identity with so many injury problems. The Thunder will also get a  huge edge down the stretch and therefore, I'll be taking the Thunder in here for an easy win.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 501 Oklahoma City Thunder (-3) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
