Charlotte almost defeated the Lakers in LA last night, where they were up by 18 points at the time. Charlotte perhaps due to Dwight Howard's presence was horrible down low with 14-35 FG at the rim! They have a lot of volume on the outside, but they had good numbers with 6-17 FG from 16-23 feet and 10-24 treys. Charlotte also shot 6-14 FG on transitions and 11-21 FG on spot ups, but they struggled on isolation plays with 3-17 FG!
Phoenix has been playing well lately, with a very good ball movement plus Marcin Gortat and Luis Scola on a good moment. The Suns will score a lot of easy points down low tonight, while they will take advantage of the lack of organization on the Bobcats defense to also pound them on the outside.
The Suns struggled on their transition defense on their last game against Sacramento, where they also allowed a lot of easy points down low to the Kings. Today, the same thing may happen due to dribble penetrations of Kemba Walker. I believe this will be a high scoring game, with Phoenix having a huge offensive game and with their easy task on offense, they will relax on defense and also allowed Charlotte to score a considerable number of points tonight.
