NBA Premium Play 12/26: Sacramento Kings @ Portland Trailblazers

NBA - 725 Sacramento Kings @ 726 Portland Trailblazers

Projected Line: Portland by 3 points

This is a home-home series, as Sacramento defeated Portland in the last game for these two teams last Sunday night by 108-96. Sacramento's coach Keith Smart decided to leave DeMarcus Cousins in Sacramento, while Tyreke Evans is also out with a knee injury. On the other hand, Wesley Matthews is doubtful for tonight with a hip injury. Even though they were missing two starters in Cousins and Evans, the Kings looked amazing last Sunday with a great ball movement that gave them 31 assists! Sacramento crushed Portland on cuts and transitions, with that being expected as the Blazers defense is #24 on transitions and #29 on cuts. The Kings are coming from playing their best offensive game of the season and with another game against Portland, I expect them to have another good offensive game tonight, as they really have a good offensive matchup in Portland's defense.

Portland keeps being without Wesley Matthews and without a lot of depth on their roster, they had to start seldom-used Victor Claver at the SG position. No disrespect for Clever, but he doesn't being anything relevant to the team's lineup. With Sacramento coming from their best game of the season and with Portland struggling due to Matthews' absence, I expect the Kings to stay competitive tonight. Coach Keith Smart gave an excellent sign in leaving Cousins in Sacramento and I expect his players to show good effort tonight, as it's clear in Sacramento right now that whoever plays better gets playing time. No prima donnas allowed. I expect Sacramento to keep this game very close and so, I'll be taking the Kings in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 725 Sacramento Kings (+7,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
