This should be a very low scoring game. Anthony Davis got injured once again and he will have limited minutes tonight by coming off the bench once again. The Hornets will face Minnesota tonight, a team that is #4 on 3pts defense with just 32.8% 3pts allowed. They are also #3 on spot up defense and #3 on transition defense, so they should be more than fine on a half court game like tonight's contest. Luke Ridnour has some problems on defense, but Greivis Vasquez lacks the speed to take advantage of that.
On the other hand, the Hornets are the worst team in the league in 3pts defense by allowing 40.6% 3pts! But the Wolves have been terrible this season on this department with just 29% 3pts! So, they won't have advantage of the Hornets' perimeter defense struggles. This is a really good matchup for both defenses and on a slow paced game, I can only expect this game to end up being a really low scoring game. Therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here.
