This is a terrible spot for Golden State, who has just finished a long road trip and they are now coming back home to face the Hornets. New Orleans in theory would be a good matchup for Golden State, as the Hornets perimeter defense is quite poor and the Warriors can shoot well from the outside, however on such a poor spot, I believe the Warriors will struggle tonight on their perimeter shooting, something that will prevent them from having a good overall game on offense tonight.
On the other side, New Orleans is coming from a close loss at Portland, in an extremely slow paced game (79.62)! The Hornets offense is far from being a great unit and they generally need second chance points to have some efficiency on the offensive end. Golden State is #1 on defensive rebounding this season, so they won't allow the Hornets to have second chance points tonight, something that will also put the Hornets offense on a tough spot.
I expect a slow paced game in here, with both the Warriors and the Hornets having some offensive problems in here. Therefore, I believe this game will be a slow scoring contest and so, I'll be taking the Under in here.
