NBA Premium Play 12/19: Detroit Pistons @ Toronto Raptors

NBA - 703 Detroit Pistons @ 704 Toronto Raptors

Projected Line: 183 points

Toronto is coming from a road win at Cleveland last night, on a very slow paced game. The game was so slow that Toronto had 0 fast break points. Jose Calderon keeps leading a very organized Raptors offense with 40% of the team's shooting volume being pick and roll ball handler plays and spot ups! Toronto wasn't not only assertive down low with 16-21 FG at the rim, but they had also a nice outside shooting game with 6-15 FG from 16-23 feet and 12-24 treys! Cleveland also had a good offensive game with their transition game working plus good isolation plays, however Toronto was better on free throws, rebounds and turnovers, so they got the win at the end.

The Raptors lost at Detroit by 90-91 on the last play of the game earlier on the season. Now without Andrea Bargnani, Toronto is defending much better at the rim with Ed Davis and Jonas Valanciunas! Jose Calderon might struggle at bit in defending Brandon Knight, however Toronto's defense has been much better lately at defending pick and rolls, therefore I believe the Raptors will have a nice defensive game in here. On the other hand, Detroit has been defending well spot ups by being #5 in the league and even though they are just #25 on pick and rolls defense, I believe they will be able to do a decent job on defense tonight, especially when Toronto is on a back to back spot.

I see this game being a really slow paced game, where both teams will be able to have decent games on the defensive end, therefore I'll be taking the Under on this contest.
