This will be Boston's third game in four nights and if they looked very tired last night at Houston, the Celtics won't feel better tonight at San Antonio. The Rockets torched them with 10-17 FG on transitions and 7-14 FG on spot up plays and that was enough for a comfortable win. On the first game between these two teams, San Antonio dominated, as the Celtics couldn't stop Tony Parker's dribble penetration and they couldn't keep San Antonio's frontcourt from overpowering Boston down low. San Antonio shot 24-30 FG at the rim and they took advantage of their sharp offense by completely crushing the Celtics' defense from both down low and the perimeter.
With the Celtics' on a poor spot, I expect San Antonio to set a high game pace, so they can explore their physical edge. Boston is allowing 105.2 offensive rates to their opponents on back to back games this season and they haven't faced a top team on this spot so far this season, so I believe San Antonio will completely pound Boston's defense tonight, while the Celtics will surely struggle a bit on offense due to their lack of fresh legs to hit those 16-23 feet shots that they always attempt at a high number. I see this game being a total blowout for the Spurs and so, I'll be taking them in here.
