Phoenix is one of the teams that has been playing better basketball lately, with a great offensive flow, while showing some toughness on defense. Coach Gentry realized that Michael Beasley can't play big minutes and inserted Luis Scola in the starting lineup once again. Phoenix has been showing excellent team chemistry and they will face the Blazers tonight, who will still be without LaMarcus Aldridge for tonight. Portland was able to beat Denver last Thursday, on a game where I took the Nuggets. That win was unexpected and it was one of the weirdest games I've ever seen! Denver committed less turnovers than Portland (9 vs 11), won the boards battle by grabbing 55% of the rebounds, scored 31 fast break points and 74 (!) points in the paint, but lost the game because they shot a ridiculous 1-35 FG from long range!
Phoenix won't surely shoot so badly from the perimeter tonight, as they are indeed shooting 31-63 3pts over their last three games. With Phoenix playing better and with Portland missing their best player, I believe the Suns have a fairly good chance of winning this game outright. Therefore, I'll be taking the Suns plus the points in here on a Double Dime Play!
