NBA Premium Play 11/24: Los Angeles Clippers @ Atlanta Hawks

NBA - 705 Los Angeles Clippers @ 706 Atlanta Hawks

Projected Line: 184 points

The Clippers are coming a loss in Brooklyn last night, where the bad spot of both teams were evident during the second half. The LA team had no offensive flow, everything was forced, with no ball movement. They had 18 isolation plays, they struggled in scoring near the basket with 11-26 FG at the rim and with most of their offensive being at the perimeter and with no good ball movement, they struggled with 7-12 FG from 16-23 feet and 4-17 3pts! However, when it came to the final minutes of the game, the Clippers were too tired to have any kind of discernment on their game. The problem for the LA team is that their spot for tonight is even worse, as they will be playing the final game of their road trip in Atlanta.

The Hawks are coming from a nice win in Charlotte, in a great game from Al Horford, who was the key factor for Atlanta's early lead that they kept for the whole game. He had a good matchup against the Bobcats' frontcourt and he took advantage of that by shooting 11-11 FG at the rim! That inside edge forced Charlotte to overhelp and that gave space for Atlanta to also shoot well from the perimeter with 11-22 3pts! Of course, things will be much tougher for Horford tonight against the Clippers' powerful frontcourt.

Atlanta's spot for tonight isn't great neither, as they will play their third game in four nights, with the first game of this sequence going to overtime. Both teams have been solid in defending in the paint, as they are just allowing 61% FG at the rim! With this good interior defense, the pressure will be on both backcourts to perform at a decent level and on a poor physical spot for both teams, I really don't expect that to happen. The first game of this series ended with a 89-76 result and I expect this game to be also a low scoring game, therefore I'll be taking the Under in here.
