Chicago is 1-3 on their last four games and they have been struggling on defense, with a defensive rating of 116.85, 102.73, 114.11 and 113.27 in those games! The Bulls have been struggling in defending teams with a well balanced offense and this was exactly what happened in their three losses against Boston, the Clippers and Portland, three teams with good guards and good frontcourt players. Fortunately for them, Houston isn't that kind of team, as their primary scorer that solves everything on offense is James Harden, a backcourt player. The Rockets don't have any frontcourt player that can cause problems to the Bulls defense, not even to Carlos Boozer! Therefore, Chicago with their good team help defense will be able to limit Houston's offense. I'm counting with Luol Deng to defend James Harden tonight, who won't be at 100% tonight due to illness. So, I believe Chicago will shutdown the Rockets offense tonight.
While the Bulls have been struggling with their second unit, the truth is that Houston won't have any second unit edge, as their roster depth is also limited. I believe Chicago will simply outplay the Rockets with a limited James Harden and therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here on a Double Dime Play and Chicago on a Single Dime Play.
