NBA Premium Play 11/19: Golden State Warriors @ Dallas Mavericks

NBA - 509 Golden State Warriors @ 510 Dallas Mavericks

Projected Line: Dallas by 2 points

Golden State has definitely an improved defense this season, but they just couldn't stop Oklahoma City last night that was hitting jumpers, getting to the rim, winning the battle of the boards and hardly turning the ball over. They were simply unstoppable, with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combining 17 assists and just 3 turnovers! Oklahoma City shot 12-22 FG from 16-23 feet and 13-20 from 3pts, while committing just 12 turnovers, shooting 22-26 FT and outrebounding the Warriors, on an almost perfect offensive game! I would dare to say that Oklahoma City would have beaten any team in the league with yesterday's performance.

But the truth is that Golden State hung around and they actually made a nice run during the 4th quarter. Golden State shot very well near the basket with 22-28 FG at the rim and 6-10 FG from 3-9 feet! This is why they had a bigger FG% than the Thunder! Considering Oklahoma City's excellent performance, the fact that Golden State was able to competitive in the game shows how well they also played!

Golden State has been a good rebounding team and they have been protecting well the basket and against a bad rebounding team like Dallas, this is immediately a nice edge the Warriors will have in here. Dallas was able to win at Cleveland, even though they had a high number of turnovers and they got badly outrebounded by Cleveland, who just couldn't beat the Mavericks because their offense just couldn't produce a decent amount of offense down low.

This is something that won't happen with Golden State, who has two solid frontcourt players in David Lee and Carl Landry coming off the bench. The backcourt battle will also be interesting with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson going head to head with O.J. Mayo and Darren Collison. Golden State's backcourt hasn't been consistent, but fortunately for them, Jarrett Jack has been playing very well coming off the bench and the Warriors' second unit has been playing very well lately. Dallas won at Cleveland due to their second unit edge, but that won't happen today. I expect a ballgame in here, so I'll be taking the Warriors plus the points tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 509 Golden State Warriors (+5,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
