NBA Premium Play 11/19: Los Angeles Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs

NBA - 511 Los Angeles Clippers @ 512 San Antonio Spurs

Projected Line: 202 points | San Antonio by 10 points

***DOUBLE DIME PLAY***

San Antonio was coming from an excellent home win against Denver. Manu Ginobili was struggling with a back injury, but he looked much better on the last game with 7-10 FG, 20 points and 4 assists, something that helped lifting the Spurs offense. San Antonio showed a much higher level of energy than they had showed on Thursday against the Knicks, the ball movement was excellent and San Antonio looked also very aggressive on defense, while forcing 22 turnovers, even though they didn't have Kawhi Leonard available. It was just a vintage performance of the Spurs offense: good ball movement, great ball spacing and excellent ball sharing, something that allowed them to have open shots that the Spurs kept making: 8-15 FG from 16-23 feet and 16-27 from 3pts!

On the other hand, the Clippers is coming an easy home win against Chicago, where they didn't have problems in scoring in transition. They forced a lot of turnovers that resulted in 20 points off turnovers. The Clippers had 10 steals, while the Bulls couldn't respond offensively with their inability of scoring near the basket with 13-31 (42%) FG at the rim! The Clippers weren't great on the perimeter with 8-21 FG from 16-23 feet and 5-16 from 3pts, while having just 4-15 FG on spot up plays, but their edge in turnovers, transition plays, free throws and second unit edge were enough for a blowout win.

Now these two teams will face each other, in a revenge game for San Antonio who got blown out in LA against the Clippers two weeks ago. The big news for this game is that Manu Ginobili looks finally healthy and that was clear against Denver. Curiously, the first game of the series had the same fate of the Clippers vs Bulls game: San Antonio committed a lot of turnovers and the Clippers took advantage of that to score in transition. San Antonio has been struggling with turnovers on this early season, but they are looking better lately, with just 8, 13 and 14 turnovers on their last three games! An healthy Manu Ginobili solves the potential problems in ball handling of San Antonio and this should help solving the problems San Antonio had on perimeter shooting in the first game (5-14 FG from 16-23 feet and 8-23 from 3pts).

On the other side, the Clippers offense was perfect in that game, with good outside shooting and especially a huge frontcourt domination with Blake Griffin shooting 10-16 FG and DeAndre Jordan shooting 10-12! This was also caused due to the fact San Antonio didn't look healthy in that game, as Stephen Jackson, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan all showed symptoms of a flu prior to that game. This time, San Antonio is more than ready to have a dominant performance like they had in last year's playoffs against the Clippers, even though the LA team is now playing better and especially Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are healthier now than they were during the playoffs series.

"We owe them. It's going to be a big game for us," Stephen Jackson said. "They were all hyped about the game because we swept them. They still had the dust pan in the arena. We have a good game on our hands, but we're up for it."

I expect an exciting high scoring game in here, with San Antonio getting revenge tonight, while showing that they are the better team of the two. Therefore, I'll be taking both San Antonio on a Double Dime Play and the Over on a Single Dime Play in here.
