NBA Premium Play 11/21: San Antonio Spurs @ Boston Celtics

NBA - 509 San Antonio Spurs @ 510 Boston Celtics

Projected Line: Boston by 3 points

I believe this will be a close contest, with both teams being quite similar. They don't commit a lot of turnovers, they don't grab a lot of offensive rebounds and most of their offense game comes from jump shooting. So, basically the same that will shoot better will win in here. San Antonio is now dealing with serious issues at the SF position, with both Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson being out due to injury. It looks like Danny Green will start at the SF position tonight, while Gary Neal will start at the SG position. This will completely change the team's structure and San Antonio's super well oiled machine may find some problems on making the right adjustments tonight, especially when Paul Pierce will have a clear physical over his opponent tonight.

We are in front of two teams that shoot a lot and well from the outside: Boston is #2 with 44.2% FG from 16-23 feet and San Antonio is #3 with 43.6% FG from 16-23 feet. The problem is that the Spurs isn't being a good outside shooting team recently and without Leonard and Jackson, these problems will only get bigger on short term. San Antonio is #25 on defending spot up plays and both Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have been very inconsistent offensively this season. I believe Rajon Rondo will outplay Tony Parker, while the Kevin Garnett vs Tim Duncan matchup should be a close and interesting matchup.

With both teams playing with a similar style and being quite even at literally everything, I give some edge to Boston tonight due to the mismatch they will have at the SF position, besides the home court factor. I have them being favored by 3 points on this contest and so, I'll be taking the Celtics in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 510 Boston Celtics (+1,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Betonline
