NBA Premium Play 11/21: New Orleans Hornets @ Indiana Pacers

NBA - 507 New Orleans Hornets @ 508 Indiana Pacers

Projected Line: Indiana by 11 points

The public is on New Orleans for tonight, as Indiana has been terrible this season against lowly team. However, the Pacers have some major matchup edges for this contest. Anthony Davis is out for tonight and so, the Hornets will have a limited frontcourt tonight. Indiana's offense has some quality on post ups and transition plays and the truth is that both Roy Hibbert and David West are coming from a big game at Washington. They have a good chance of continuing their good play tonight. Indiana is turnover prone (#28 with 15.65% turnover rate), but the Hornets defense isn't aggressive and they simply don't force turnovers (#23 with 12.75% on opponent turnover rate). New Orleans also struggles on defensive rebounding, especially without Anthony Davis, and Indiana has a good shot of taking advantage of that tonight, on an area where the Hornets were completely outplayed by the Knicks last night.

The Hornets' offense has been a good perimeter team and they showed that yesterday, but just during the first half because on the second half, they started to struggle on their perimeter shooting and that just on zero offense from them. The Pacers has probably the best perimeter defense in the league and it's only necessary to watch what they did to the Knicks offense last week, as they limited the Knicks' shooting to a percentage below 40% FG! Indiana will pound the Hornets down low on offense, while they are #1 in transition defense and in spot ups defense, so I expect a blowout win for the Pacers tonight and therefore, I'll be taking Indiana in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 508 Indiana Pacers (-7,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on 5Dimes
