Phoenix is playing on a very loose way right now. With Taurasi back, the team looks less pressured and more energized, with players like Samantha Prahalis and Alexis Hornbuckle helping Diana Taurasi to make the Mercury offense more efficient, especially on the outside shooting. They are coming from two good wins in a row in Seattle and at home against San Antonio, while their new great attitude is making them a very tough spoiler for the remaining games of the season.
With the Liberty being also in decent form, but without being a top team by any means, I can totally see the Mercury making this game a very competitive one. The team from NY is coming from defeating the Mystics at home by just six points and I don't believe they will be able to stop the Mercury offense tonight, therefore they'll need to have their offense working as well to expose Phoenix's poor defense and try to win this game via their offense.
I expect a very offense-oriented game in here, without any of these teams being able to get a big gap in the score. Therefore, looking at the lines offered by the sportsbooks, I'll be taking both Phoenix in a Single Dime Play and the Over in a Double Dime Play!
