MLB - 929 Boston Red Sox @ 930 Seattle Mariners
(Starting Pitchers: J. Lester vs B. Beavan)
Boston will start Lester tonight and I expect the Washington native pitcher to have another good outing tonight. He has been in great form lately and he is definitely pitching better than his season average numbers show. He allowed five runs to the Angels on his last outing, but previously to that game, he had just allowed 3, 1 and 1 runs to Kansas City, the Yankees and Cleveland respectively, therefore I expect him to have a good outing tonight against a poor offense like the Mariners.
Beavan will start for the Mariners and he has been at a decent level lately, with two good outings against the lowly Twins twice, but while struggling against more powerful teams like the White Sox, Tampa Bay and Baltimore. Even though they're having a very poor season for their standards, Boston is still a pretty dangerous team in terms of batters and so, I expect Beavan to surrender some runs tonight, while Lester should have a comfortable night. Therefore, I expect the Red Sox to have a comfortable win today and so, I'll be taking them in here.
