MLB - 913 Philadelphia Phillies @ 914 Atlanta Braves

Philadelphia is now playing very well and they've won 10 of their last 14 games. They'll start Hamels today, who has been in excellent form lately, but couldn't start on Wednesday due to food poisoning. But he is fine now and he has allowed just six earned runs and five walks in his last four starts. He dominated the Braves with a complete-game shutout in early August and he keeps looking very well on his outings, including on his last two, where he faced two powerful lineups in Milwaukee and Cincinnati. This is a good spot for Hamels and with him pitching so well lately, I can only expect a great outing from him today.
Maholm will start for Atlanta and he has lost two in a row now, while allowing six earned runs in 13.2 innings. In five starts for Atlanta, he has allowed more than two earned runs twice, even though he has faced Houston, NY Mets, San Diego, Washington and San Diego again in those outings, so he really had a very good schedule so far with the Braves. With his advanced numbers on his last three starts (4.00 FIP/2.93 xFIP, 5.53 FIP/2.44 xFIP and 4.67 FIP/3.44 xFIP) not looking very good, especially considering the poor opposition he faced, I believe the very confident Phillies will put him in trouble today.
With the Phillies looking very confident right now and with Hamels in the mount today, I expect them to outplay the Braves today, who will be starting a SP who is definitely not looking very well right now. Therefore, I'll be taking Philadelphia in here.
