MLB - 969 Baltimore Orioles @ 970 Toronto Blue Jays
(Starting Pitchers: J. Saunders vs J. Happ)
Baltimore will start Saunders, who has been struggling big time lately. On his first start for the Orioles, he allowed four runs in the first inning against the White Sox and he eventually had seven runs allowed on his Orioles debut last Wednesday. This was the third start in a row where he struggled big time and it's really worrying that he allowed 12 and 10 hits to Miami and the White Sox. He has been horrible against RH hitters, therefore I expect him to struggle today against a Blue Jays lineup full of RH batters.
Toronto will start Happ, who has been in a great moment lately, however he allowed four earned runs to the Yankees last Wednesday. He has been having a very impressive strikeout rate for the Blue Jays and he had a good performance overall on his last five games that were all against top teams: Tampa Bay, the Yankees, Texas, Detroit and Yankees again! Now against Baltimore, I expect him to have another solid outing today.
With Saunders struggling big time and Happ looking actually impressive lately, I believe Toronto should have a comfortable home win today and so, I'll be taking the Blue Jays in here.
