MLB - 961 Colorado Rockies @ 962 Atlanta Braves
(Starting Pitchers: A. White vs M. Minor)
This series had two relatively low-scoring games in the first two games (both games went under the total posted), with the winning team scoring six runs, while the losing team scored one or zero runs. Atlanta lost yesterday, as they struggled against a LHP, just like they have been struggling the whole season. They'll face White tonight, a right handed pitcher who has been struggling a lot lately. He hasn't been allowing a lot of runs, but he also never goes deeper than 4IP (that's bad even for Colorado) mostly due a poor command, with a lot of walks issued. And if he struggled against San Diego, the Cubs, the Mets an Miami, it's likely that he'll struggle even more against Atlanta in a bounce back mode.
Atlanta will start Minor who has been very inconsistent. He has struggled against RH batters and Colorado will only have Carlos Gonzalez in the lineup who isn't a RH batter. Colorado is a top team in hitting against LHP and already against Minor this season, they made him struggle big time by allowing eight runs and ten hits in just five innings.
Unlike the first two games of this series, this is a good offensive spot for both teams and so, I expect both teams to have a good offensive production on this contest, therefore I'll be taking the Over in here.
