MLB - 967 Cleveland Indians @ 968 Detroit Tigers
(Starting Pitchers: J. Kubler vs A. Sanchez)
This is a poor spot for Detroit, as they played SNB last night and they'll now play an early game, therefore I expect their offense to struggle today. Cleveland will start Kluber and he is coming from three decent outings against Oakland, the Yankees and Oakland again with a 2.94, 2.51 and 6.71 FIP in those three outings. He throws a bit of everything (FB, CT, CB and CH), so I believe the Tigers offense in a poor spot today will struggle to pound him.
Detroit will start Sanchez, who is coming from two outings in a row, where he allowed just one earned run in each game. He seems to be now on a good moment after struggling on his first starts with a Tigers uniform and Cleveland is a good matchup for him, as he is definitely better against LH batters with 3.34 FIP and 3.57 xFIP, with the Indians lineup being always full of them. Therefore, I expect Sanchez to have another quality outing today.
With this poor spot for the Tigers offense and with Sanchez being ready to stop the Indians offense, I expect a low scoring game in here and so, I'll be taking the Under on this contest. Even though Kubler has the conditions to have a decent start today, I believe he won't be unstoppable against a good Tigers offense (even though they're on a bad spot), while Sanchez should completely dominate the Indians today, therefore I'll be also taking Detroit on the runline in here.
