MLB - 921 Oakland Athletics @ 922 Detroit Tigers
(Starting Pitchers: A. Griffin vs M. Scherzer)
The Athletics will be starting Griffin who has been excellent with a 0.89 ERA on his last three games, but I believe this will be a very tough game for him. He has been pitching either at home or on the road at AL West since July, therefore this trip to the East may be dangerous for him, especially when he will be facing a team who hits very well against RH batters.
Detroit will be starting Scherzer, who has been dominant and he is impeccable against RH hitters. He has also been very good against powerhouse teams, with good outings against the Angels and the White Sox twice. I like this spot for Detroit at home, with a more trustworthy pitcher, therefore I'll be taking the Tigers in here.
