MLB - 925 Los Angeles Angels @ 926 Kansas City Royals

This is a big series for the Angels, as the Yankees will go head to head with the Rays and Oakland going head to head with Baltimore at the same time. So, if the Angels win this series against the Royals, they'll surely be closer in the wild card race. They'll start Wilson tonight who is coming from an amazing start against Detroit, where he allowed four hits while walking two and striking out six batters in the process. He looks to be back to his early in the season form with excellent back to back outings against Oakland and Detroit, two top offensive teams lately. Now against a Kansas City team, who is actually worse versus LHP's than RHP's, I believe Wilson has a great spot for a third great start in a row.
The Royals will start Chen and he has been battered around lately with 11 runs and 11 hits allowed in 12 innings of back to back losses, including 3 and 4 homeruns allowed in those two starts. He is heavily struggling against RH hitters with a 5.11 FIP and 4.69 xFIP and the Angels lineup for today will have 9 RH batters ready to pound Chen! To make things worse for the Royals, Kansas City' bullpen has been used a lot lately, as Hochevar only pitched for 5IP and their game yesterday went to extra innings, with the Royals using their main bullpen pitchers (Crow, Herrera and Holland).
With such a clear edge for the Angels in terms of spot, starting pitching, hitting and bullpen, I can only expect an easy win for the Angels and so, I'll be taking them in here.
