MLB Premium Play 09/02: Texas Rangers @ Cleveland Indians

MLB - 917 Texas Rangers @ 918 Cleveland Indians

(Starting Pitchers: D. Holland vs Z. McAllister)

Cleveland will be starting McAllister, who is now struggling, as shown on his last outing against Oakland, where he allowed five runs in 4.1 innings. His last two starts (10.38 ERA/7.48 FIP/4.20 xFIP and 1.50 ERA/5.43 FIP/5.23 xFIP) were poor and he has been allowing a lot of homeruns lately, having allowed multiple homeruns in four of his last eleven outings! Against a powerful Texas lineup, trying to bounce back from yesterday's loss, I believe he will be in trouble once again today.

Texas will start Holland, who is coming from a win last Monday against Tampa Bay, where he allowed five runs (three earned) in six innings. He has been having tough outings lately, mostly due to having faced Tampa Bay, Baltimore, the Yankees and Detroit on his last four outings. Still, he was at least decent in those outings, a sign that he is in good form and should have little problems in handling the unimpressive Indians lineup.

I believe not only there is a slight SP edge for Texas in here, as there is a clear hitting edge favoring the Rangers and therefore, I expect them to bounce back today from yesterday's loss by winning this game quite easily. I'm taking Texas today.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 917 Texas Rangers ML (w/ D. Holland) @ -146 / 1.69 on 5Dimes
