Cliff Lee has been amazing lately with 1.32 ERA and 1.48 FIP over the last 30 days, with only Kris Medlen getting close to Lee's recent numbers. He has great numbers against the Mets, as the NY team is full of LH batters and Lee has a 2.41 FIP and 2.69 xFIP this season against them. This is also a good spot for Philadelphia's offense and with Lee going deep in the game, the Phillies have everything they need to win this game.
The Mets will start Dickey tonight and he has been in a mini slump. Of course he continues to be solid, but he hasn't been as dominant as he was early on the season. He is now walking more batters, having less strikeouts and the Phillies are a tough matchup. Philadelphia knows Dickey well with their roster having 140 AB's against him, while hitting .279 BA and .717 OPS! Dickey is also slightly worse against LH hitters and Philadelphia will be full of LH batters on their lineup today! Therefore, I expect a comfortable win for Philadelphia today and so, I'll be taking them in here.
