NBA 03/19 Game Previews Articles

Game Article Preview: Portland Trailblazers @ Milwaukee Bucks

Portland is coming from a 1-point loss at Philadelphia last night, where they had the chance of winning the game on the last possession. Philadelphia dominated almost the whole game, but Portland made a late comeback that was helped by the Sixers turning the ball over with just 7 seconds to go, when Jrue Holiday tripped on a teammate's foot and dropped the ball out of bonds. Portland will play tonight in Milwaukee and back to back spots aren't great spots for them, as they can easily get exposed with their lack of depth on this kind of contests.

Milwaukee had a nice home win against Orlando last Sunday, in a game where they had a super slow start, but then they were to able to recover from that down the stretch, when Monta Ellis went into an insane mode and scored 25 points on his own during the fourth quarter! Their offense has been working well, especially since J.J. Redick joined the team, however it's possible that they will be missing Ersan Ilyasova tonight, who has been complaining with a back injury.

The Bucks's offense has a good spot tonight to have another big game as Portland's defense isn't impressive at all, but the same also happens on the other end, especially looking at Milwaukee's poor perimeter defense. With both teams having some edges on offense, I expect this game to be a very entertaining game to watch, with a considerable number of points being scored, just like the totals line is currently predicting.
