NBA Premium Play 02/22: Sacramento Kings @ Atlanta Hawks

NBA - 811 Sacramento Kings @ 812 Atlanta Hawks

Projected Line: 210 points

***UPGRADED INTO A DOUBLE DIME PLAY***

The distractions in Atlanta are now over. Josh Smith will continue with the team for the rest of the season and so, the Hawks will be more focused from now on. Josh Smith may not even continue at Atlanta in the following year, but he will take advantage of the second half of this season to impress the league, as he will be a free agent in the off-season. Atlanta played very well against Miami in the first three quarters, before collapsing on offense down the stretch. Atlanta scored 23 fast break points with 11-15 FG and 1.37 PPP on transition plays. Al Horford was excellent with 12-15 FG and there isn't much to say about Atlanta's offense that shot 50% FG! They just struggled on the perimeter with 7-26 3pts and with turnovers as they committed 21! During the fourth quarter, the game was played at a slower pace and on half court, where Atlanta collapsed.

On tonight's game against Sacramento, who like to play at a fast pace and with no major concerns on defense, Atlanta's offense has a nice matchup to have a great game. Sacramento's defense is #29 on fast break points allowed per game with 15.8 ppg and #22 on transition defense. So, it isn't a surprise that the Kings have allowed 19.2 fast break points per game on their last five contests! We have in here a huge matchup advantage for Atlanta, as they have scored more than 23 fast break points in three of their last four games! On the other side, Sacramento's offense has been quite effective as well. They are pretty much an Eastern Conference version of the Atlanta Hawks, as they only want to score in transition: 22.6 fast break points per game on their last five games. At the same time, Sacramento's defense has been horrible, as they are clearly #30 in the league on overall defensive rating with 113.3!

I expect this game to be a very fast paced, almost a run and gun contest, due to the offensive mindset of both teams. In the previous game played between these two teams, Atlanta easily won at Sacramento in a game where they scored 112 points without any problems, while Sacramento even with DeMarcus Cousins (4-15 FG), Thomas Robinson (1-6 FG) and James Johnson (1-7 FG) having terrible games, they still scored 96 points. I expect a very high scoring game in here and so, I'll be taking the Over in a Double Dime Play!

Pick: 4 units (Double Dime Play) on 811/812 Over 202 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
