NBA Free Premium Play 02/11: Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks

Washington  at Milwaukee
NBA - 711 Washington Wizards @ 712 Milwaukee Bucks

Projected Line: Milwaukee by 1 point

It seems like Larry Sanders won't play tonight as well and without him, Milwaukee's defense is poor, especially in comparison to Washington's defense that has been an elite unit lately! Milwaukee has been struggling the whole season on rebounding, especially on their own basket and they are currently #29 in the league in defensive rebounding% with just 70%. They have also only grabbed 45.83%, 44.38%, 45.58%, 41.83% and 49.35% of the rebounds on their last five games, while allowing an average of 15.6 offensive rebounds to their opponents. With Sanders out of the game, Samuel Dalembert will play heavy minutes once again and he has lost a step on the defensive end, so the Bucks's starting frontcourt unit formed by him and Ersan Ilyasova will definitely be poor on the defensive end, allowing Nene Hilario and Emeka Okafor to have a considerable edge down low tonight.

Washington is currently playing at a much higher level than Milwaukee, so the question in here is to know if the Wizards can only play at this level at home, where they had three nice wins on their last three games against the Clippers, the Knicks and the Nets, or also on the road. Their defense is terrific, while they depend on John Wall offensively to feed their big men. I've already mentioned the problems that Milwaukee's interior defense will have tonight without Larry Sanders, but their perimeter defense is also a poor unit with Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis not being exactly good defensive players. So, with Wall having a decent game tonight, Washington should have a nice offensive outcome. This line is taking a lot in account the fact that the Wizards have been a poor road team this season, but we are dealing with a new Wizards team that has been playing much better lately and that has a nice spot for tonight, as they had 2 days off to rest prior to this contest. With the Bucks's defense being 8 points per 100 possessions worse without Sanders on the court, I expect Washington to make this contest a really close one and so, I'll be taking them in here tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 711 Washington Wizards (+5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Betonline
