WNBA Premium Play 07/19: Washington Mystics @ Indiana Fever

WNBA - 601 Washington Mystics @ 602 Indiana Fever

Projected Line: 152 points

***TRIPLE DIME PLAY***

We are in front of two teams who have been stepping it up lately. Indiana was a question of getting their players healthy. Their guard Erin Phillips returned and with her on the floor, the Fever has finally their whole starting lineup available that won the WNBA Finals last season. Phillips's presence on the floor helps everything, as some players that weren't used to handle so much the basketball struggled while she was out, but now with her back, they can now focus on their primary strength: shooting the basketball.

So, it wasn't a surprise to see the Fever scoring 68 points on the first three periods of their game against New York. Then, they scored just 6 points on the last quarter, but they were up by almost 30 points and the whole quarter was a practice, with Tamika Catchings on the bench. The truth is that Indiana's offense is now way improved and I believe we won't see them having again a stretch of six games on the 60's points scored like it happened previously on this season.

On the other side, Washington is getting more and more similar to Connecticut from the previous seasons. The Mystics have assimilated the ideas from their new coach (former coach of Connecticut) well, they have the deepest roster in the league even though they have no star power, but their coach trusts in every single player of the roster. On their last two games, Washington defeated San Antonio due to key runs that came from their bench! The Mystics scored 80 or more points in four of their last five games, as they are using their depth edge to push the ball and wear down their opponents. The Mystics averaged just 8.4 fast break points per game on the first eight games of the season, but they are now averaging 12.8 fast break points per game on their last seven contests!

The first game between these two teams this season ended with the Mystics winning a super low scoring contest (64-60) in mid-June. Both teams are now playing much better on offense right now than they were at the time and therefore, I actually expect this game to be a relatively high scoring contest. So, I'll be taking the Over in here on a Triple Dime Play!

Pick: 5 units (Triple Dime Play) on 601/602 Over 144 @ -110 / 1.91 on 5Dimes
