WNBA Free Premium Play 07/11: Los Angeles Sparks @ Tulsa Shock

WNBA - 653 Los Angeles Sparks @ 654 Tulsa Shock

Projected Line: LA Sparks by 10 points

The LA Sparks have been amazing at home this season with eight wins in eight games, while crushing other good teams in the process: 96-66 vs Minnesota; 97-89 vs New York; 93-66 vs San Antonio. Their problem has been on the road, where they are 0-4, including three blowout losses on their last three road games: 82-94 at Chicago; 64-88 at Minnesota; 81-97 at Phoenix. The Sparks know that they need to improve on the road and so, I expect them to be fired up for tonight:

"That's the one thing we discussed after the game is that we need to be road warriors." said Ogwumike, who has totaled 39 points in her last two games. "So we want to come out and practice hard. Coach (Carol Ross) said we're going to work on the fundamentals when we come back from our day off and bring it to the road because Tulsa's going to be hard to win at their place."

If the Sparks really come fired up for tonight, then Tulsa will be completely crushed tonight. The Shock's defense is horrible and it's no surprise that they are dead last on fast break points allowed and on points in the paint allowed per game as well. These are the two areas where the Sparks' offense is great and so, they have everything to crush the Shock tonight. Tulsa hasn't played since July 2 and they are coming from a 4-game road trip where they lost all games by double digits points. On an ESPN2 game like tonight's contest, I believe the Sparks will come fired up and they will show that they are a much better team than Tulsa, winning this game by double digits points. I'm taking LA tonight.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 653 Los Angeles Sparks (-7) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
