WNBA Premium Play 07/13: Indiana Fever @ New York Liberty

WNBA - 651 Indiana Fever @ 652 New York Liberty

Projected Line: Indiana by 4 points

***TRIPLE DIME PLAY***

Even though they lost their last game against Minnesota, Indiana was finally able to present their starting five from the 2012 Finals (Erin Phillips, Briann January, Shavonte Zellous, Tamika Catchings and Erlana Larkins) for the first time this season. After a poor start of the season with a lot of injuries, Indiana has won three of their last four games and on their last game against Minnesota, they saw one of their key players Erin Phillips returning to action. Indiana was able to hand around with Minnesota all game and they were just down by 2 points with five minutes to go. The key lineup that won the championship last year is now finally back together and so, it's natural that the Fever will get closer to closer to the level that they had last season very soon.

I believe Indiana will face New York at the right time for them. The Liberty have been struggling badly with turnovers all season and they are dead last in the league on that department with 19.9% TO/rate. Due to this, their head coach Bill Laimbeer has decided to put Cappie Pondexter at the PG position.

"I think in the long term, whether the long term is this year or for sure next year, I think that is her position." Bill Laimbeer said. "I think she learned in the last few games, in games that were out of control. She did very well in her first time."

Pondexter played at the PG position on the team's last game against Seattle, but things didn't improve as New York still committed 18 turnovers. Indiana is a great team on pressuring the opposing ball handler and they are clearly #1 in the league in creating turnovers to their opponents with 20.1 opp TO/game. Therefore, I expect the Fever to have a huge edge on this department tonight. I believe the Fever will come very confident for today's game and with Erin Phillips back, they are a better team than New York, who is currently trying to learn a new system with Pondexter at the PG position. I believe Indiana should have favored on this game and so, with the current line, I'll be taking the Fever tonight on a Triple Dime Play!
