(Starting Pitchers: J. Verlander vs J. Parker)
Oakland was completely dominated by Scherzer last night and they only scored due to a field error by Fielder and then on Valverde's 9th inning meltdown. Tonight against Verlander, I expect to see him dominating the Athletics in a similar way he did in the Game 1 of this series, where he allowed one earned run and three hits in seven innings, while having eleven strikeouts.
On the other side, I also expect Oakland's pitching to be top class throughout the whole game. Parker has been very impressive lately and their bullpen has been dominating the Tigers throughout the whole series. These two pitchers went head to head in the Game 1 of this series and the game ended with a 3-1 score. I expect a similar low scoring game in here and therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here.
