These two teams may have a similar poor record, but there is a clear motivation edge for the Astros. Houston is playing much better than the Cubs right now, with their young players hitting very well while showing to be very motivated. On the other side, the Cubs are clearly tanking and looking quite poor in most of their recent games.
The Astros will start Norris tonight, who is coming from his best start of the season where he absolutely dominated the Cardinals. On the other hand, the Cubs will start Volstad, who is coming from some terrible starts. With the Astros having a motivation and a SP edge in here, I expect them to win tonight and so, I'll be taking them in here.
