NBA Premium Play 05/07: Memphis Grizzlies @ Oklahoma City Thunder

NBA - 711 Memphis Grizzlies @ 712 Oklahoma City Thunder

Projected Line: 184 points

After taking the Under in the first game of this series I feel that we still have some value with the Under for tonight’s Game 2.

The Grizzlies defense was pretty decent in G1 by allowing OKC to shot 41.3% FG while OKC had just 13 assists. Kevin Durant is a phenomenal player and it is pretty impossible to stop him and Memphis will have to live with that. However Kevin Martin by any means can have 8-17 FG, 3-5 3pts & 6-7 FT for 25 points. Coach Hollins decided to give some extended minutes to Bayless (20min) and Dooling (8min) while Tony Allen played only 21 minutes. I don’t think this will happen tonight as Allen will play more minutes just to defend Martin. Somehow, this happened before in the series vs. LAC in G1 when Allen played just 17 minutes just to average almost 33 minutes in the following 5 games and obviously Memphis dominated LAC.

On the other side, OKC interior defense was great! MEM had just 8-19 FG at the rim & 32 points in the paint (note: MEM averaged 44.3 points in the paint in the previous series against LAC!). Perkins struggled heavily just to stay on the floor against HOU but in this series he is a key factor for OKC. However, the Grizzlies was super efficient from the outside w/ 3-5 FG from 10-15 feet + 11-21 FG from 16-23 feet and they even hit 7 treys! I expect some regression tonight from MEM from long range even though most likely they will be better near the basket.

I expect tonight’s game to have a slower pace than G1 (pace factor was 91.4 – second fastest game of the Grizzlies in this postseason) while both defenses will once again dominate.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 711/712 Under 188.5 @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
