NBA Premium Play 04/19: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Detroit Pistons

NBA - 503 Minnesota Timberwolves @ 504 Detroit Pistons

Projected line: Detroit by 1 point

Detroit is on tank mode in a direct fight with the other lowly teams and this will also be a back-to-back-to-back game for them. The Pistons aren't very concerned in winning, as in fact their coach even rested Prince yesterday to give a starting nod to Daye. On the other side, Minnesota has some motivation for this game, as they have lost their last 11 games and looking at the fact that they don't have a first round draft pick next season, there is no reason for them to tank. The Wolves are winless in April over the past three seasons and so, they really want to win a game until the end of the season, as stated by Tolliver:

"This is much different than last year," forward Anthony Tolliver said. "We gave up way early. I didn't think we had a chance to win games down the stretch last year. Nobody really cared. This year, the guys in this locker room still care. We still want to win."

Besides their recent game where they were crushed in Indiana, Minnesota has been showing good effort and on their last game at home against Memphis, they didn't give up on the game, even though it was a back to back game for them and they were down by 22-32 at the end of the first quarter. The Wolves still have Pekovic, Williams, Beasley and Randolph to abuse the poor interior defense of the Pistons and so, I expect them to be highly competitive today. Therefore, I'll take Minnesota in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 503 Minnesota Timberwolves (+5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
