The Bobcats are coming from a game yesterday against the Celtics, where their coach decided to put his team running and putting pressure on the Celtics who were playing on the third night of a back-to-back-to-back spot. For their efforts, the Bobcats had 10 fast break points, while Boston had 12! Charlotte couldn't run because Boston shot almost 50% FG and besides that, they grabbed 8 offensive rebounds! Boston destroyed the Bobcats on the pick and rolls with 8-13 FG on P&R Ball Handler plays and 3-8 FG on Roll Man! Boston used their cuts and the Bobcats defense couldn't defend the rim, allowing Boston to shoot 21-30 FG at the rim and score 50 points in the paint! Some Bobcats players like Henderson and Brown had a decent shooting game, but that wasn't enough.
On the other hand, the Hornets are coming for another great performance against the Grizzlies, where they played some excellent defense. They closed the door on Memphis in terms of easy points, as the Grizzlies shot 10-21 FG at the rim and 0-5 FG from 3-9 feet! Besides that, the Hornets frontcourt defended really well and the Grizzlies could only shoot 4-14 FG on post up plays! They were also very aggressive in putting pressure on the ball handler and had 11 steals, with Memphis committing 21 turnovers! I expect the Hornets to shut down the Bobcats today, while New Orleans may also struggle a bit on offense as this is a letdown spot for them. Therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here.
