This is the worst spot of the season for Cleveland, as they will play their 5th game in 6 days and the 3rd game in 3 nights! They had back to back games at home, with the last one being an OT game against Indiana, then they played at Indiana, at Washington and they will now play at home against Orlando! At Indiana, Sloan played 31 minutes and all the other players with less than 30 minutes. Yesterday, Jamison rested but we had Sloan with 31 minutes, Thompson with 35 minutes and Harangody with 37 minutes! Just like it happened at Indiana, Cleveland showed no inside game against the Wizards, with just 10-16 FG at the rim and 3-6 FG from 3-9 feet! However, they shot 17-35 FG from 16-23 feet! With today being such a tough spot for them, I don't see the Cavs having the legs to be aggressive and attack the rim and as they had success yesterday by shooting far from the basket, I expect them to try the same thing today.
On the other hand, Orlando was crushed by Atlanta at home, where they were completely outscored by the Hawks who shot 10-17 FG from 16-23 feet and 14-35 3pts, while Orlando shot 2-11 FG from 16-23 feet and 6-28 3pts! As Cleveland won't have a size edge against Orlando, this game will be solved in the perimeter and in here, we have the Cavs who are #29 on spot up defense against the rested shooters from Orlando. Atlanta had the athleticism to stop Orlando's perimeter game, but I heavily doubt that Cleveland will be able to do the same thing, especially on a back to back to back spot! Therefore, I expect a clear win from Orlando and so, I'll take them in here.
