Chicago has been a great road favorite in lowly games when they have more than 1 day off to rest, as they are 5-0 ATS in games on this spot where they favored by more than 8 points: 112-91 @SAC; 90-67 @CLE; 108-87 @NOH; 95-64 @CHA! The Bulls have all their roster available for today, as Rose is also probable for today. Therefore, Detroit will heavily struggle today. Chicago is rebounding very well once again by grabbing 57% of the boards in their last 5 games! With their great frontcourt, it will be very hard for the Pistons to score at the rim today. Detroit has been attempting 40% of their shots at the rim in their last 5 games but with just 59% FG and today against the Bulls, they will surely struggle near the basket. Monroe has been very inconsistent as of late and he will be easily stopped by the Bulls great frontcourt defense.
Detroit was able to have good offensive games against Charlotte and Milwaukee, as they scored in transition 21 and 22 fast break points and also shot 27-45 FG and 20-30 FG at the rim in those two games. That won't surely happen today, as the Bulls will easily shut down the Pistons offense. Looking at the Bulls offense, I like the way their 2nd unit is playing right now, showing excellent continuity between units! Detroit has been heavily rotating the team and when their 2nd unit enters the court, the edge in favor of the Bulls will be huge. I expect Chicago to win this game by double digits points and so, I'll take the Bulls in here.
