NBA Premium Play 04/16: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Indiana Pacers

NBA - 703 Minnesota Timberwolves @ 704 Indiana Pacers

Projected line: Indiana by 7 points

Minnesota has been constantly overlooked since Love is out due to injury. Denver was up by 21 at half time against them and then won by just 6 points. Already against the Clippers, the game was tight until a 22-14 in favor of the Clippers allowed them to win the game by 13 points. Finally, at home against Oklahoma City, Minnesota was up by 2 points with 1 minute to go! Teams think they can easily beat the Wolves right now and because of that, they relax. Minnesota has been able to score as they have three big players who are aggressive: Pekovic, Beasley and Randolph! Basically, Minnesota is playing with a big lineup who attacks the rim, as in their game against the Thunder they shot 22-36 FG at the rim and 6-11 FG from 3-9 feet! The Wolves had a really good performance against Oklahoma City and their coach was really happy with such effort:

"If you play like that, you're going to get some wins," Adelman said. "We got some great effort from guys. This is how we have to play the rest of the season."

On the other hand, Indiana has the tendency to play sloppy against lowly teams and they have tomorrow a key game against Philadelphia, so this is a relax spot for them. The Pacers are coming from a great road win in Milwaukee, where as I expected they shot terribly from the outside with 7-26 FG from 16-23 feet and 7-19 3pts, but where they compensated that with a boards edge and a much better FT% numbers than the Bucks: 24-26 FT vs 16-26 FT! I like the Wolves in here to be competitive, as the Pacers will have the edge in the 1st unit, but then Minnesota with Beasley and Randolph coming off the bench will make things close. I'm taking Minnesota in here.

Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 703 Minnesota Timberwolves (+10,5) @ -110 / 1.91 on Bookmaker
