Sacramento is 0-7 on their last 7 games, with six of those losses coming against winning teams, knowing that their loss at New Orleans was on a tough spot for them, as they were playing their 4th game in 5 days and in a back to back game. They are coming from a loss in Oklahoma City against a fired up Thunder team, where it was clear once again that the Kings needs to be able to score easy points in order to be competitive and Oklahoma City shut them down near the basket. Sacramento shot 10-26 FG at the rim and 2-13 FG from 3-9 feet. We are talking about a combined of 12-39 FG near the basket! Ibaka had 9 blocks on his own! The Kings were decent on the outside, but with those ridiculous numbers on the inside, they had no chance. The good news for them is that they will now face Portland, who can't defend near the basket anymore!
Portland is now without Aldridge and they have been playing undersized with Batum in the PF position! In fact, on their game against the Warriors played a part of the game with Felton-Matthews-Jamal-Batum-
On the other side, the Kings defense has been getting worse and worse. Their transition defense has been super bad and so, we are talking about two teams with terrible defensive teams as of late, so a lot of easy points are likely to be scored today. The first two games between these two teams went under, but Portland is now a different team with a much weaker defense and Sacramento is now playing with 3 guards in the lineup. I expect a super offensive game by both teams in here and so, I'll take the Over on this game.
