Chicago had another OT game yesterday in Detroit, where their defense and rebounding was good as expected, with Detroit shooting 39.3% FG and 14-32 FG at the rim, with their best big man Monroe shooting just 3-10 FG! They also had a 17-10 edge in offensive rebounds, but Chicago had some unexpected offensive struggles, with 21 turnovers! They struggled to score at the rim and their bench also struggled big time, if we exclude Korver. Today the Bulls will be playing a back to back game, with four of their starters having played more than 40 minutes yesterday, so Chicago will definitely need their 2nd unit playing well today.
Washington was being competitive, but in their last two games in NY against the Knicks and at home against Cleveland, they were terrible! Just Seraphin is capable of making some post up moves, so their frontcourt has problems in scoring easy points, as note that they shot 9-23 FG at the rim against the Knicks, which leaves a lot of pressure to Wall and Crawford in the backcourt. Wall is struggling big time now and the Wizards lacked energy in both ends of the floor in their last game against Cleveland. I expect this game to be a brick fest for the Wizards, while Chicago on a bad spot will control the boards in a typical half court game. Therefore, I'll be taking the Under in here.
